SOMMELIER LIFE | DUE TO COVID-19

STATEMENT | Batin Mumcu

The concept for the Gambero Rosso Award in Rome is trend-setting for a sustainable wine presentation in the Covid-19 pandemic times. Security measures were very strict but necessary to guarantee a smooth process. Times for gastronomy and sommeliers are difficult and can only survive through innovative concepts.
So it was an important sign of a new normal time and lifestlye. It goes on, the industry can survive and continue to live. Therefore, all wine event organizers are called upon to continue working on creative concepts. In order to further support the wine industry. It will go on. That is the important and central message that I take with me from my trip to Rome. #bekind #thinkpositive
