Cricova die Stadt, liegt 15 Km nördlich von der Hauptstadt Chisinau. Im Weinkeller führen labyrinthische unterirdische Tunnel und Gänge (gesamt 120 Km) in das Kalkstein Massiv. Der Weg zum Weinkeller ist nur mit dem Auto passierbar. Strenge Kontrollen am Tunnel Eingang sind obligatorisch.

Cricova the city is located 15 km away from the capital Chisinau. In the wine cellar there are labyrinthine underground tunnels and passages (120 km in total) in the limestone massif. The way to the wine cellar is only passable by car. Strict rights at the tunnel entrance are mandatory.

In den 1950er Jahren wurde der Tunnel aus dem 15. Jahrhundert in ein Weingeschäft mit Verkostungsräumen und Restaurants umgestaltet. Der Weinkeller gilt als einer der größten dieser Art. Die Tunnel-Straßen sind nach Wein Routen benannt. Jede Straße führt zu der entsprechenden Wein Stadt mit Lagerhaus und Verkostungsraum. Ein sehr praktisches Konzept!

In the 1950s, the 15th century tunnel was transformed into a wine shop with tasting rooms and restaurants. The wine cellar is one of the largest of its kind. The tunnel roads are named after wine routes. Each street leads to the corresponding wine town with warehouse and tasting room. A very practical concept!

Der Weltberühmte-Weinkeller ist sehr glamourös bestückt ganz im Osteuropäischen Style und mit viel Tradition. Die Raritäten Sammlung der „Cricova“ Weine ist mehrfach international prämiert worden, mit über 70 Silber-, Gold- und Grand-Prix Auszeichnungen.

The world-famous wine cellar is very glamorously decorated in the Eastern European style and with a lot of tradition. The rarity collection of “Cricova” wines has received several international awards, with over 70 silver, gold and grand prix awards.

Die Geschichte des Weinguts „Cricova“ wurde Teil der moldauischen Nationalgeschichte, da es maßgeblich zur Entwicklung und Durchsetzung des Weinbausektors im Land beitrug und seinen Ruhm im Ausland verbreitete.

The history of “Cricova” Winery became a part of the Moldovan national history because of being instrumental in a matter of development and assertion of the wine-growing sector inside the country, as well as spreading its fame abroad.

Our pride is sparkling wine produced according to the French classic method -“Méthode Champenoise”, discovered by the reputable monk Dom Pierre Perignon and the remarkable still wines that are famous in the whole world.
