Gambero Rosso – Vini d´Italia 2018 in Berlin

 

Gambero Rosso returned back to Berlin! 

Gambero Rosso returned back to Berlin with a unique tasting of the best wineries and the brand new wine guide Vini d´Italia 2018.

The Tasting started at 2 pm for media professionals, retailers and trade visitors.

At 4 pm the audience and winelovers were invited.

Gambero Rosso presented for the first time a special selection of named “Smart Wines”, which were awarded in the wine guide Berebene 2018: These drops with the best Price-quality ratio in Italy cost less than 13 Euros. At 17:30 o´clock follows the award ceremony of the best Italian restaurant in Berlin, including gourmet restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias and wine bars.

Wine Bar: Muret la Barba, Il Calice

In den letzten Jahren hat sich die italienische Gastronomie in Berlin stark verändert. Das beste italienische Restaurant in der Stadt befindet sich im Herzen des Stadtteils Mitte:

Die Auszeichnung von Gambero Rosso ging an Bocca di Bacco, das historische Lokal der Familie Mannozzi; ihm wurden zwei Gabeln zugesprochen, die höchste Punktezahl im Bereich der feinen Küche.

In der Kategorie Trattorien sticht die Lavanderia Vecchia hervor; das Lokal im Stadtteil Neukölln erhielt den Surgiva Taste & Design Award, überreicht von Tim Kirchof. Es verbindet auf origineller Art den Charakter einer früheren Wäscherei mit Geschmack, Hipster-Atmosphäre und hausgemachter Küche, wo einmalige Menüs mit authentischen Geschmacksnoten
zubereitet werden.

Das besondere Ferment Berlins bilden allerdings die neapolitanischen Pizzerien. Mit der höchsten Punktebewertung, zwei Nelken,
bedachte Gambero Rosso Standard – Serious Pizza, die Pizzeria mit der außergewöhnlichen Teigmischung von Alessandro Leonardi im Prenzlauer Berg, und Malafemmena, das Schöneberger Lokal im Besitz der Familie Cirillo, welche einen
Höhenflug in der weißen Kunst der neapolitanischen Pasta bietet und die ursprüngliche Landküche pflegt.
