Idylle an der Adria / Idyll at the Adriatic

Trieste or Trieste, as the Italian says, is a northern Italian port and major city with over 200,000 inhabitants located directly on the Gulf of Trieste on the Adriatic Sea, directly to the Slovenian border. Trieste is the capital of the autonomous wine region Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Triest oder Trieste wie der Italiener zu pflegen sagt, ist eine nord italienische Hafen und Großstadt mit über 200.000 Einwohnern direkt am Golf von Triest an der Adria unmittelbar zur Slowenischen Grenze gelegen. Triest ist Hauptstadt der autonomen Weinregion Friaul-Julisch Venetien.

There is much to see and discover in this historic multicultural multi-ethnic city. With the e-bike I could relax on a sunny day, in the sub-Mediterranean climate, discover some highlights. And in the evening to relax at the harbor sunset at the end of the day.

In dieser historischen multikulturellen Vielvölkerstadt gibt es viel zu sehen und zu entdecken. Mit dem E-Bike konnte ich entspannt an einem sonnigen Tag, im Submediterranem-Klima, einige Highlights entdecken. Und Abends zum Sonnenuntergang am Hafen entspannt den Tag ausklingen lassen.

Do not miss the Miramare Castle, located directly on the Gulf of Trieste, with the beautiful castle garden built by Archduke Maximilian of Habsburg, the brother of Emperor Franz Joseph I and later emperor of Mexico, his wife Charlotte of Belgium.

Antikes trifft auf Relikte der KuK Monarchie und der Gegenwart mit modernen Mode und Designergeschäften. Triest ist sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und sicher. Die viele Cafés und Restaurants sind sehr einladend. Triest ist eine lebendige Stadt die Ihnen gefallen wird, und einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen wird.
